Welcome to the Official Site of the
Sandusky County Ohio Horseman's Council!

What is the Ohio Horseman's Council? The Ohio Horseman's Council, which was started in 1972, is an organization of all types and sizes of equine. It is involved in many activities, ranging from the support of legislation, to trail construction and maintenance, to volunteering at the Youth Horse Show, supporting 4-H and the youth..

As a member, you are welcomed to help make the equine industry more enjoyable for all. This is a county chapter, and when combined with other Ohio counties, make up the largest State Horse Council in the American Horse Council. To date, there are more public riding areas in Ohio than in all the adjoining states combined.

This chapter, like many others, holds monthly meetings that are open for anyone to attend. We hold our monthly meetings on the 1st Tuesday of every month at 7:00pm at Fremont First Brethren, 2510 West Hayes Ave.
